The Great Neighborhood Trick or Treat, the 1st annual Columbiana wide trick or treat event, will be held between 5:00pm and 8:00pm on Saturday, October 30th. This is a joint effort between the City of Columbiana, The Columbiana Police Department, and Main Street Columbiana to encourage residents to come together and get to know their neighbors better and to provide a safe and fun experience for children in our community.
Columbiana residents are encouraged to register as a candy stop and to place orange bows on their mailboxes to indicate to trick or treat-ors that they are handing out candy. Neighborhoods are encouraged to register by October 20th so that we can coordinate with the Police Department to provide traffic safety and so that a map of participating neighborhoods can be created. Main Street Columbiana will be providing FREE orange mailbox bows (while supplies last) and those bows will be available at Just a Tish, The Farm Company, and City Hall.
We hope you will all participate and help bring trick or treating back to the next generation of kids. Let’s show them how to have a fun, safe Halloween!
