Industrial Development Board

Overview

The Industrial Development Board meets on an as needed basis at City Hall when called by the Chairman for the purpose of discussing pending issues. The Board consists of not less than 7 members with 6-year terms and appointed by City Council.  Five of the Members shall be qualified Electors and Taxpayers in columbiana.  At the discretion of the City Council all the remaining members hall be qualified Electors and Taxapayers in Columbiana, or up to two of the remaining members may be qualified Electors and Taxpayers in the area outside of the corporate limits of Columibana. No director shall be an Officer or Employee of the City of Columbiana. New members are to be chosen from local Chamber of Commerce if there are members who are both suitable and available to serve.
