Liberty Day

Columbiana Liberty Day is set for 2024!  Mark your calendars for Friday, June 28th and Saturday, June 29th!

Activities:

This two day event will include music on three stages, a 5K race, food trucks, arts and crafts vendors, children's games, a car show, a hot dog eating contest, a parade on Main Street, and the best fireworks show in central Alabama.

This event is completely free to the public thanks to our dedicated sponsors! Liberty Day features live music performances on three stages, free kids activity area, free parking, and free ADA shuttles. We encourage festival goers to show their gratitude to our sponsors when making purchases.

History:

Columbiana's Liberty Day began in 1986 as a celebration of the statue of Liberty. Over the course of almost 40 years, it has evolved into a 2 day, family friendly event with live music, arts and crafts, a Main Street parade, National Headliner bands, and a phenomenal fireworks show.  Columbiana looks forward to seeing the thousands of visitors from across Alabama that come to join in this celebration every year. 5K Race

What better way to begin the day than by running in the Liberty Day 5K Fun Run?!

The course is flat and fast and runs through beautiful and historic Columbiana, Alabama. Race info will be posted by March, 2024.
