Application for Rezoning

There is a non-refundable $25 application fee for rezoning requests.  There will be two public hearings during the rezoning process.  The cost for newspaper advertising of these public hearings is the responsibility of the party that is making the rezoning request.  Application fee checks can be made payable to : City of Columbiana.  Application fee and enclosures can be dropped off at City Hall or mailed to: City of Columbiana, 107 Mildred Street, Columbiana AL 35051.  You must indicate the applicant name and "Rezoning Request" when submitting your check and enclosures.

If applicant is not the property owner, the applicant must submit notarized written permission from the property owner.
Frontage, Depth and Area of property in feet/ square feet
Please list any other conditions or exceptional circumstances creating a hardship justifying the rezoning.
Please list all adjoining property. Properties must be listed by Owner Name and Address.
The following enclosures are required for your request to be processed. You will need to submit the enclosures with your application fee. Please initial the fillable form to indicate that you will submit the enclosures and the application fee within seven business days of completing this form. 1. Written justification for rezoning request 2. Vicinity Map 3. Plot Plan to scale showing all existing and/ or proposed building with their relationship to the property lines and building setback line. 4. Written notarized permission from property owner (if applicant is not property owner.)
